Buraga asks for an update from VP Admin Dylan Evans as to whether investments were included in the AMS's Greenhouse Gas Inventory.

Evans says he asked his staff, but he doesn't remember the reasons she gave. He says that the AMS doesn't invest in greenhouse gas.

UBC wrote in recommendation of the club's formation. Huntley says there wouldn't be an impact on room booking for term 2.

The logistics of this club have been underway for four months — before the club cap was instated. The major benefit to the club would be coverage under the AMS's insurance.

Council passes an exemption to the club cap to approve UBC FAST. Student members of UBC FAST would respond to first aid incidents on campus alongside first responders, which Huntley says may improve emergency response times.

The AMS's net income is up 1.5 million dollars — a strong year. Parmar notes that most of the increase is non-discretionary, meaning it has already been allocated

Next, VP External Solomon Yi-Kieran introduces a motion to make the SkyTrain to UBC a permanent priority for the union.

Yi-Kieran's optimistic prediction for the completion of the SkyTrain is 10 years, but they say it may take as many as 25 years.

Drédyn Fontana — who was removed from his position of VP Academic and University affairs last year — moved a motion to consider the section of the bylaws concerning removing students separately.

Huntley says that according to the Societies' Act, the bylaw changes cannot be voted on separately.
