Sleepy insomniac
I have had the same experience with reporting racist comments on Instagram - what recourse do we have?

I could be wrong but I think both the original and the reply refer to the poem Ozzymandias by Shelly

Also worth pointing out beyond the online world using companies like JohnLewis/Waitrose business model that looks after emplyees and has strict company rules on wage caps for executives

Intriguing....what programme is this from?

It is incredible that an unelected, unaccountable individual is permitted to have their own space agency & everything that goes with that. This one man has far too much power, control and influence over the communication systems of whole nation states and chooses to either help or hinder on a whim.

I don't disagree with what you have written here. But I still stand by my original assertion that it was opportunistic and not planned.

They wanted to scupper their own trade deal? For what purpose? If Israel really was complicit in what happened why didn't they have time it better? Following your logic they could have completed the trade deal and then contrived a reason to destroy Hamas.

I don't disagree Hamas was planning something, but I believe their timing was deliberate.
I also think Israel was complacent in not listening to its intelligence and taking preventative action. But complacent is not the same as complicit.

Iran benefited by continuing to maintain power in the region which would've been diluted if the deal succeeded.
Of course the Palestians haven't benefited, it has been catastrophic for them. I am questioning your position that Israel allowed itself to be invaded for its own benefit.

He has taken advantage of the situation but in an opportunistic sense, I don't believe he colluded / wanted it. Israel would've benefited massively from the scuppered trade deal with Saudi Arabia if the attack hadn't taken place & that would have reflected well on him and increased his popularity.

The incident with the pagers had nothing to do with Hamas - that was an attack on Hezbollah in Lebanon - and yes, the ground work for that was clearly planned in advance.
March 4, 2025 at 7:03 PM
So strange to blame Israel for this particular situation and not at least wonder and ask questions about who is supporting Hamas and what their interests and intentions are.
March 4, 2025 at 6:58 PM
The breach of Israels borders was considered a massive failure of Israels intelligence and security services whose job it is to monitor the borders and prevent such incidents occurring - and did not at all reflect well on Netanyahu.
March 4, 2025 at 6:55 PM
Do you seriously believe Israel knew in advance and just let it happen?
Do you not think if they knew they would have still have made the same attempts to destroy Hamas but at the same time they would have prevented the slaughter at the Nova festival and prevented hostages from being taken.
March 4, 2025 at 6:51 PM
Eh? Talking of perfect timing, the Hamas invasion on October 7th 2023 was perfectly timed to put an end to the proposed trade agreement between Israel and Saudi Arabia. Iran was not happy with the potential change in the balance of power in the Middle East and so they triggered the invasion.

I feel like everyone underestimates Starmer in every situation he faces, and then he always rises to the occasion. Like him or not, he handles things.
