These are the feeding stations we figured out for feeding our squirrel Zooeys.
We found a rubber dish draining mat for sale that had two sections like this, which we cut apart. Now we have two set-ups with water bowls and a place for nuts.
Squirrels look just like cats when they drink water. 😍

My surname is German, but apparently a name that signifies of Dutch origin to Germans I ask about it. My ancestors left the Black Forest area & came over pre-WWI; when asked my grandfather said they were "kicked out by the Kaiser". I doubt it - what mean ol' Kaiser could kick this little boy out?
