Said this in another post today. He turned it into an MLM/Pyramid scheme. User data is the product. The top makes all the $$$. Watch some MLM videos, you'll see how they push you to buy buy buy & increase your downline to make $. You're spending all your time making them $$$ so you can get a few ¢.

So he turned twitter into an MLM. He's at the top making $$$, he makes you a rep with followers whose data earns him $$$ and you $. If you leave you're not supposed to try to take your downline with you. BTW MLM's are Pyramid Schemes. Only the top few make $$$
