I had a wonderful time at Much Ado About Nothing. The entire cast were excellent 👌 we sang happy birthday to Haley Atwell at the stage door but Tom didn't quite make as far as our spot. Other cast members did sign though, absolutely delightful evening.

Nothing else in this picture matters. She is delighted because we all were wishing her a happy birthday.

Painting continues until morale improves!
Paint by numbers kitten. It's about 75% done. It's not painted well because I'm not a painter but it looks fine enough and it's all rainbow coloured. Light purples and green s and blues are added since my last update. The whiskers are a squiggly mess and definitely the weak point of my painting.

Today I'm painting by numbers an old canvas I bought in lockdown. My youngest painted in the black sections then never looked at it again so I'm doing it now.
A paint by numbers canvas of a colourful kitten. There are some black, blues, oranges, yellow and maroon bits filled in and a lot of white space but it's clearly a kitten silhouette forming up. The bits are very geometric.

Breakfast for dinner is valid. And I made devilled sausages for the Teens so it's not like I didn't make effort tonight.
A white square plate, on it is a baguette cut in half across the middle so it's in 2 ends. 2 beautifully poached eggs with cracked black pepper. Grilled mushrooms, grilled onion, and some crispy back bacon. I'm talking like crispy. Like any more crispy and you would be eating jerky. Because I can't handle the texture of blubbery bacon. There's a peek of a fork off to the side with the tines resting on the plate edge. It was really tasty.

Slow progress is still progress
More progress on previous nessie cross stitch. The 2 tones of blue now filling in the Loch water (about 90% done) a dark silhouette of a fish now on the left side of Nessie swimming towards her majestic form. There's black patches awaiting bubbles colour. The surface is moderately wavey shaped. A suggestion of a seagull hangs in the sky to the right of the bright yellow and orange sunshine. No more greens yet added to nessie or the shore line on the right side.

Not a great pic but this is how I live my life 😆 finished a baby blanket today and took it to the recipient.
Crochet baby blanket crumpled up on a sofa arm. It's mainly white but also has pinks and blues and turquoise patches in it. The stitch is a V row followed by a granny stitch row alternating. The edge is 2 rounds of camel stitch in white. It looks soft and cosy
