Very true. However, this would be the time to:
1. Build friendship networks across the border to stay objectively informed
2. Support and prioritize domestic economy (and EU, we might need each other in the long run)
3. Look up sensible ways to prep for various shortages

Wish I could tell you it's all going to be ok and offer solid advice, but these are uncertain times. We were pretty calm about the relations with our large neighbor...until they attacked Ukraine.
