yes, today I am watching The Big House (1930) and Bright Victory (1952) and then possibly Each Dawn I Die (1939), Baby Doll (1956), and/or Manpower (1941).

I used to recommend these to everyone who was open to foreign language films when I worked at video stores many years ago. I made them promise not to read the descriptions though!
