It was a fun challenge trying to capture the grand scale of the ‘newer’ elven architecture alongside the older dwarven areas in one piece, but I think it worked out to being one of my favorite pieces for D&D yet!

Less is more! I spent a ton of time painting individual blades but found it killed the movement. So I flatted most of it with a blur and just brought back a few areas of focus— since it’s not the main area your eye mostly just fills in the blanks now— at least I hope.

Yeah! The stories are always my favorite part, we get a little glimpse when working on the set, but it’s great to see how it all comes together in the end!
