Ah geez I've been out of the XIV sphere too much lately! Stella Sora kinda absorbed my attention with how quick my gaming session can be daily with the limited energy mechanic. But I don't wanna miss out on the Mog Bonanza entirely, there are a few things on the list I'm missing! Gotta log tonight!

Yesterday was my birthday~ I was a Thanksgiving baby as it happens. Didn't do much besides work, have dinner and watch Stranger Things. The only thing to wish me happy birthday was my new phone; a bit of a bummer but not much of a surprise. /shrug. Can't even afford a little treat this year... hmm.

Ugh, I kinda don't want to give a damn about Expedition 33 but the more I read about it the more interested I am, like how the devs met with the Visions of Mana director while making the game. Wish I could demo it first but maybe it's worth taking a plunge with the accolades it's received.

Had to put off reading it right away, but just got through Soulsov ch.3 ... glad I took the time to experience it in one session. There are some amazing revelations in this part and I am equally anticipating and dreading how events will unfold as Loic and Ysme draw closer to the end of their journey

One thing that I do think would be cool though is to have a game that does have geographically unique iterations on something, an incentive for going to a physical location. Like, you can only experience this boss by playing in the Pacific Northwest, take advantage while you're at PAX West, etc.

My buddy had this idea for a game that had you teaching an avatar different martial arts moves, where distinct styles were only available to learn from specific geographical regions in real life. If he weren't so utterly averse to certain popular games, he'd know he basically reinvented Pokemon GO.

I remember a vivid dream about a kind of future arcade where the game content was largely produced by the customers, pitting OCs against each other and known popular characters on a wall-sized screen, like a MUGEN Smash type party game. Alcoves had stations for sculpting & printing characters in 3D.

I got a new phone, a Galaxy 25. Just glad the old one with the weirdly bloated battery could be traded in for credit. Hopefully this one will last a few years, I got the previous one as a replacement for another that had the same thing happen, battery ballooned and busted the whole thing open...

Well, my phone is fully dead. The battery swole up and busted the case open a while ago, but it still charged until yesterday. I tried plugging in the charge cable directly but that just ran the remaining charge down faster, and within another 30 min. it dropped to nothing. So, time for a newer one.

Today's update for Stella Sora includes a pity tracker so you know exactly how many more pulls before a limited banner unit is guaranteed to join. Turns out I only needed 4 for the latest unit! That works out nicely! Now I have all but one unit from the entire roster. Wonder if we'll get a selector~

Hello internet people, I wish you a good today and a better tomorrow! Can't seem to settle on a thing to mentally do today. Gotta be at work physically at least so my attention is likely to be split regardless. None of my current projects is bubbling to the cauldron surface, at any rate. We'll see?

I hope this chatty guy they're mentioning in Metroid Prime 4 is just some brief tutorial type who gets summarily eaten. I really don't see him living for long or having any greater than minor role.

Oh damn, Hololive EN is holding auditions again? I suppose we should expect another gen to debut next year, huh? I wonder if the next Holocure update will be before or after that happens? Poor Kay Yu, he'll never catch up to complete the roster with the rate they're adding talents...

Oh hell yes the Red Mage Barding is part of the Mog Bonanza this time around! That damned thing is one of the random prizes I never got from Eureka lockboxes. Looks like not much else that I haven't got from the regular methods so this ought to be easy to clear out this round.

Had a dream about a new idle RPG catching on and blowing up. I had the impression of it being so well made and engaging that I wanted to keep sleeping in order to keep interacting with it. No details on the gameplay or characters or anything significant other than great timing between notifications.

Trying real hard to give an f at work today, tough to do when clients have such petty concerns and complaints, forgetting that we have restrictions on things for a reason, and also far less staff on the weekend. Spent 10 bucks on Stella Sora since I maxed out the battle pass, part of the reward got me that last, guaranteed pull on the limited banner. Figured a small investment was OK since Shia is good already and cleaning out the event shop makes her almost OP. No need to spend more for some time XD
