I've made games and have opinions. Homeworld, Impossible Creatures, Company of Heroes 1 and 2, Warhammer 40k: Space Marine, Age of Empires IV and others.
Unfortunately, fossil fuels aren't really an answer to any of these challenges. Any new pipeline is - objectively - a decade away from tidewater and markets are fading fast. You want home grown resilience? Build renewables, invest in the grid, especially in sunny, windy Alberta.

I think it's Canadian Public Lending Rights? My Dad gets a few hundred bucks a year for a book published in the late 80s on Nunavut.

I'd like to try some battery heated gear - although our issue isn't really cold, it's the wet... and when it does snow, the snow is VERY heavy and hard to ride in.

I follow the visual ratio of thirds - 1/3 bottom bread, 1/3 meat, 1/3 top bread. But I'm guessing the meat is 2/3 by weight because it's meat.
