I’m realizing I have learned all my patience from animal crossing…

Scrounge for Eternity pretty much sums up my personality, lifestyle, and play style in every game I play, all into one.

I have almost finished another game jam about unfinished projects, and I’m almost finished with my unfinished project. I also hate it lol. I need an excitement graph for how I feel during a game jam. #indiedev #gamedesign

Everyone was talking about their first childhood crushes. Then I remembered when I was a toddler and mine was Layne Staley from Alice In Chains and I would cry and kiss the TV when he was on it. I’m afraid that says more about me than I care to admit.

While I was very rushed and felt my art for my first game was terrible. I do still have an attachment to my "Sleepy Burpy" that i drew.

Although I am a bit embarrassed by a lot of elements of my first game, I am so happy that I have finished one. I learned a lot in 10 days. I feel like a lot of people feel that same embarrassment. So, people of the internet what were your feelings after your first game?

So far, my experience in my first game jam and making my first game:

I have cycled through every emotion but the one sentiment that comes up the most is that, “I’m a huge failure that will never be able to do this.”

So, if I join another one. I’m joining a team or hiring a team of therapists.

I'm so excited for this game. I LOVE the art style.

I am doing my first game jam on itch.io in less than 24 hours, and i'm not terrified at all. I'm so prepared 🤥 If anyone else is interested in making cute girly games, there is still time to join. The community is so wonderful and supportive.
