Faith Kipyegon’s Breaking4 mile attempt comes up short as she clocks a 4:06.42 time trial, 1.22 seconds faster than her 2023 official world record.

Kipyegon hit 400m in 1:00.20, 800m in 2:00.63, and 1200m in 3:01.84 en route to her 4:06 finish.
