Yeah, and he’ll redirect it to his offshore account in Qatar.

He tried doing the same off the coast of Virginia & North Carolina and there was massive push back so they dropped it. I think several GOP reps said no because they would lose their seats since constituents were angry.

Maybe if folks voted the MAGA nuts out of office they might get a break and teach them a lesson.

Learning to make time for oneself includes telling children that unless it’s an emergency you are going to take a 1-2 hour break. Put boundaries on work, most things can actually wait until the next business day but bosses like to act important & constantly intrude on your off hours. Put boundaries.

Why aren’t you angry at republicans? Why do we keep giving them a pass? Do you realize that republicans were going to allow the government to remain shutdown for another month, if not longer? Real anger should be directed at GOP, apparently though we’re too busy shouting at our own ppl.

Do you remember what happened after Democrats passed the ACA? Did voters reward them for passing something beneficial for them? No. We subsidize farmers, oil companies & the President’s pal in Argentina (just because he’s his pal, no other reason) yet Republicans cut subsidies to Americans.
November 11, 2025 at 6:31 PM
LOL, well, where is Trump alternative? I believe he said at the start of this term he would develop something better? In the meantime, GOP has chipped & chipped at ACA to destroy it. Anyone believing that GOP will help w/healthcare is a sucker, a vote for any GOP is a sucker vote.

What’s worse the “trade deal” he shook on with Xi only resulted in going back to pre Tariff War levels of purchase. So the suffering was needless. But, hey, they will still support him, so I can’t say I feel especially sorry for them.
November 10, 2025 at 8:46 PM
True, but those that voted because they weren’t paying attention or thought he might be better, will begin to blame him. However, with MSM turning to the right, it is becoming harder finding anyone that will criticize him.
November 10, 2025 at 8:42 PM
It actually does work that way. Look at the success GOP has had? They were single minded in electing someone that went against their own existence & won. Look at damage they have done, 3 SCOTUS seats, overturning RvW,destroying institutions, etc. Dems keep shooting themselves in the foot.

Unfortunately most of them live in Florida, if I’m not mistaken.

Hire Jack Smith and FBI investigators (that were fired) to do all the work. They got an indictment for that.
November 10, 2025 at 7:52 PM
Unfortunately, you may be right. The next front is taking back the house and senate so Trump can be stopped. Hopefully, people will vote for the Democrat for President, no matter what.
November 10, 2025 at 7:38 PM
I am sure there were internal discussions. Those that are up for reelection are not going to show they “caved.” GOP is probably celebrating, our anger should be turned against them not the Dems. Give Dems House & Senate, with large majorities & see how they stick it to Trump. Retire old Senators.
November 10, 2025 at 7:32 PM
I do, however, believe that we need to elect younger more aggressive Senators that know how to fight. A new way of governing is upon us & we need to have Senators & Congress people that reflect that.
November 10, 2025 at 7:05 PM
And the folks not receiving SNAP or WIC were not going to starve if this went on another month? GOP was not negotiating no matter what and didn’t seem to care if they injured their base. While I would have preferred they hold out a bit longer, we aren’t in the room with the GOP.
November 10, 2025 at 7:02 PM
Since GOP seemed willing to go for a month or more, eventually Dems would’ve given in. Not feeding ppl, not paying ppl was not going to be sustainable. I do agree that we need younger, more aggressive Senators but we also have to give them tools to fight.
November 10, 2025 at 6:59 PM
Not really. Unfortunately, it looked like GOP was willing to go another month or more. Would we really let ppl starve or freeze? I understand ACA fight is important, but then again if Democrats voted religiously like GOP we wouldn’t be in this mess, right?Principles don’t feed anyone.
November 10, 2025 at 6:57 PM
Air Travel was an issue but so was SNAP & WIC. It is easy to say that we could go on but others could not. I am impressed that I don’t see anyone angry with Republicans, who seem to suffer no rage from anyone??
November 10, 2025 at 6:53 PM
@bbcnewsnight.bsky.social Remember, he was indicted for the incitement of Jan 6th. Call Jack Smith & have him work with your people to bring the evidence to trial. Discovery will be huge! Bring in the investigators to provide testimony of evidence they found that led to the indictment.
November 10, 2025 at 6:49 PM
If Trump is going to sue the BBC, then bring over Jack Smith & the FBI investigators to testify as to evidence they had against Trump. Have the trial that should have happened in the US in GB. Bet he backtracks quickly.
November 10, 2025 at 6:43 PM
If it does go to court get Jack Smith to testify as to the evidence he had that showed that Trump’s intent is what is ultimately shown in the tape, even if edited. It is time to play hardball with Trump, quit bowing to him, you only play into a dangerous game.
