I am sure that she can win this case, but she has no money, and her husband has rich parents who are covering his legal fees.We need enough money to keep fighting however long it takes for the courts to realize just how full of shit he is.

If she's unable to fight him in court then it's likely that he'll win sole custody of their daughter and will use that to continue to control and abuse both of them until her daughter is old enough to leave him.

He's already taken the child and filed for custody before my friend got the chance to (we had literally just finalized the paperwork when she got the news). Now, we need to hire a lawyer and respond within 30 days.
