The governors race was not a spontaneous event nor was his decision to run. Plenty of time to coordinate for a regular or special election that would not result in a vacancy. The respectful thing to do would have been to thoughtfully plan for this ahead of time. Nothing further needs to be said…

Or…hear me out…he could just DO HIS JOB. I’m concerned you’re not being serious as it seems you’re unaware of how truly uninvolved he’s been. This lowering the bar for elected officials and blind loyalty to a party is a huge reason we keep losing elections.

He should resign to run for the office then, as others have done. Asking that he do the job he currently has is not an unreasonable request. He has the worst attendance of any CA rep

I think that’s a ridiculous argument, we voted him in to do his job. If he can’t do that because he’s chasing a higher office, then he deserves neither. Totally fine for you to disagree, but bear in mind many see it this way

Congrats on quitting-it’s hard. I quit smoking after having tried the patch/gum/Wellbutrin etc by vaping because I needed the sensation of drawing something through my lungs-like many former smokers I know-that was the piece that was missing. I haven’t smoked in 5 years thanks to vaping
