What he said about Social Security payments has been repeatedly debunked - so the question isn’t whether he’s lying about this, the question is why.

What is this a pretext for? He and the GOP have long shown interest in going after Social Security. What are they going to try?

Even if we don’t stop RFK Jr’s confirmation, it’s still important to tell your senators how cutting infectious disease research funding and spreading vaccine misinformation will hurt people in their states.

As professors, we talk so much now about how to stop our students from using AI to cheat on papers and exams. I’m a lot more worried about higher education going in a direction where AI is pushed on all of us by administrators as the next frontier in learning.
OpenAI also said “it will host a meeting in October with presidents and provosts of leading higher education institutions to discuss how to adopt AI effectively and responsibly in a university setting, including for teaching and advancing academic research.” 😩

An important fact that I'll repost from time to time.

This was NOT a blowout election.
Harris got 71,247, 193 votes.
DJT got 74,838,183 votes.
As ever, the electoral college did its worst.

LOTS of people didn't want DJT.
LOTS of them are ready to push back.
You are not alone.
