My favorite piece from QuiltCon. This resonated so much with me. I just wanted to stare at it for hours. One side shows the stark darkness and solitude of grief where the other side shows the hope, light, and new beginnings that can come from it too. So beautiful.

So I did a thing and made this quilt. My first ever Judy Niemeyer and Quiltworx quilt. 😍😍😍 took some blood, sweat and tears…and a few curse words. But it is done. I can't believe I made this 😱 #quiltsky

I taught my first quilting class in over a year and it felt so good to be back at it. It was good for my soul ❤️
