I'm rural. My choice was a years long contract for crappy, small town internet or StarLink, which is awesome. That has to make more sense than fiber every which where. Amazon and Boeing have systems coming online soon. Considering the players I'm not sure that adds up to healthy competition.

I'm not sure about this. I have to believe that AI fever dreams probably make more sense than some things they have buried there.
