Any other streamers, please sound off! Tell me your thoughts about the situation. Do you use Reactive Images? How has the 1.5 update impacted you, if at all? What do you want happen going forward? Please let your voices be heard outside of the Discord server.

There's so much more I can say: None of this feels tested before launch. There was clearly no surveys of the community done before making these major changes. The virtual radio silence. But if I talk any more, I might as well make a YouTube video about it.

As a last note, what's funny about all this is that I only use Reactive Images for my friends and guests. I have a different program (veadotube) for my own model. I genuinely think most of this boils down to not understanding why a good chunk of streamers use Reactive Images in the first place.

The models break on stream. They disconnect from OBS. The models switch to different images randomly. The tool just isn't reliable anymore. Hopefully my link to my stream works (always be plugging) which shows a clip of my models breaking! Live on air!

The fact that us streamers have broken setups now and are scrambling to figure out how to fix it, is one thing. A bunch of us will figure out the bare minimum until this update is rolled back or until we find a replacement all together. The bigger problem is that Reactive Images doesn't work now.

Now if I paid $42 a year, I could get 200 models and 100 overrides (or custom sources). Because that would be the only way to get back what I lost. And mind you, I think those are low numbers for a paid user. Previously paid users had 32 models. I don't know how much they lost in all this.

With the new update, I can only override images for 10 friends max. As a free user, my image (or model) count has increased from 8 to 20 but that INCLUDES overrides. So I can give 10 friends 2 costume changes...and that's it. And originally I had 15 join stream with 8 costume changes each.

Not to sound like a jerk but this update sucks. Reactive Images used to have an override feature that let you change the images for your friends. I could only have 8 images for myself as a free user. But I could override an unlimited # of friends, though they were limited to 8 costume changes max.

With no announcements to the public regarding the backlash and with no way for people to get together and talk about their problems with the update outside of the Discord, I fear we're entering an "ignore all the negativity" phase. If all the discourse happens on Discord, is it really happening?

This 1.5 update has been a huge mess. People have been speaking out about this, expressing their disappointment. But outside of the official Discord, there isn't a place for people to air their thoughts on the matter. There aren't forums or a reddit and the one post FugiTech made on here was deleted

Add me to the 100 people because this update is awful. I use Reactive exclusively for the override feature and the new model and custom source limits make Reactive functionally useless now. The new UI isn't helping either, it's confusing. You might want to roll this back or make some MAJOR changes.
