other than everything i said 4 is still a borderlands game so i do like it a whole bunch but damn i hope the dlcs and updates fix the fixable issues

ive gone back to borderlands 3 and i can definitely say that it's story is better than 4. i even found myself actually enjoying some of the calypso twins' dialogue. remove ava or entirely rewrite her and you'd have something really good. as for 4, it's story is SOOO bland. this is bad!

farming for legendaries isn't special anymore; most legendaries are only as good as the average purple rarity weapon. i think having basic weapons be usable is great! i think having a throwing knife that applies a critical hit debuff be better than EVERY other ordnance slot item sucks.

a major part of these games is the replayability, which has been NUKED from orbit thanks to the open world formula. you gotta explore and fill out the whole world and grab lore collectibles with every character you make in order to upgrade your ammo capacity and my ass is not doing that

definitely my least favorite game in the series. this Still means it's like an 8/10, but there's so much little stuff that bl4 gets wrong about the series that puts me off thinking any better of it
