I think for me, my family turned away from me, All the people I had connections with in the religion went away immediately. So my world shrank completely. I had to learn how to make friends and be my authentic self.

. I had tried many times in my life but never had any support or anything so always went back. This has turned my off to religion completely. But it was such a huge part of my life. Sometimes I wonder if I am missing something. Have you experienced this complete apathy for religion?

So, I grew up as one of Jehovahs witnesses. Being gay was not acceptable in any way. Long story short I got married to a woman, and was married for 17 years. I came out and made all the moves I needed to make when I turned 35

Sometimes we have to remember we are the only ones who will stitch us back together. Just know you have those rooting you on. Just keep stitching.

If you put them in order from light to dark and then take a black and white photo it will help you see how the fabrics will show up together. I used batik for a Bargello and it turned out lovely!

Never heard of it. I have started learning fabric dyes, so this might be a cool thing to add to it.

I have designed several quilt patterns that I want to write the actual instructions for and put out into the world. But that’s a learning curve for me so I keep putting it off. But I don’t want to. Along with so many other things!
