I was handed an EM position at work with no degree or exp in the field (I’m a quality & compliance nurse). Now in my spare time I’m taking every related FEMA class that’s offered, going to the CDP in Anniston a couple times a year, & looking at a dual masters in EM & HS. Knowledge is so important!
