I love all the books people suggest getting before it’s too late. If someone is only able to purchase one, which one would you suggest is the most important to read?

Bernie Sanders made a surprise appearance at Coachella 2025 last night.

So he went from the LA rally to Coachella. He's 83 and fighting like this. This should be an inspiration to all of us. If he can do this, we can all do a little more.

Your reminder that the news is not reporting on anything that does not support the narrative that the country loves Yam Tits and Melon Head.

There are protests everywhere. Tesla dealerships are on fire. Republicans refuse to host town halls because they're getting yelled at by veterans.

Good morning, Bluesky.

I don’t know who needs to hear this today, but even during the darkest of times, it is still so important to seek joy.

Allow yourself to enjoy the little things in life.

The last thing left in Pandora’s box was HOPE.

Never forget that.

The inverted flag isn’t disrespect — it’s a distress signal from naval traditions, used to show grave danger to life or property.

With a lawless man set to take power after attempting to overthrow the government, America is in extreme danger.

That’s why I’m posting it today.

I love this so much!

At the inauguration, Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson wore a distinctive collar adorned with cowrie shells, which are believed to offer protection from evil in African traditions.

This choice mirrors the late Justice Ginsburg’s practice of using collars to convey a message.

Just so we’re clear, Trump started the legislation to ban TikTok when he was in office, but it didn’t get through the senate or house until Biden’s presidency—Biden signed it into law—then SCOTUS upheld that law.

Trump gets to slide into office to “save” what he, in the first place, sought to ban.

I won’t be watching the inauguration. Celebrating the birth of fascism in America just isn’t my cup of tea.

I liked TikTok because I got to be who I really am in my heart: a creepy little lurker who watches everything and says little.

Let’s be very clear with our messaging:

Canceling DEI programs is racism.

Enabling others' hate is hate.

I don’t care how companies spin it. Caving to Trumpism and reverting to a time when white people ignored everyone else enables White Supremacy, ableism, and worse.

Caving to racism is racism.

Many of us are echoing @timothysnyder.bsky.social's lesson in On Tyranny, "Do not obey in advance.”

A no less vital admonition that deserves attn:

STAND OUT

“...without that unease, there is no freedom. The moment you set an example, the spell of the status quo is broken, and others will follow."

Imma need some of you to think about thriving out of spite. I had big plans for 2025 and I’m definitely not gonna pre-derail them for likes of Elin and Tromp. I’m getting more involved. Loving harder. Writing hornier. Having more fun. I’m gonna be so kind to my neighbors, bitch.
