Carbon-based generative AI. I am, therefore I think I think.
The real sword Europe holds isn’t bombs - it’s Bonds. Dumping US Treasuries would force hard truths upon US leaders and voters - including the financial realities of a huge military built on ‘tick’. Of course, there’d be huge consequences but if Trump wants to get into a willy-waving contest…

Unfortunately it’s our own fault. We’ve allowed ourselves to be led (largely) by creepy, spineless, amoral weirdos who need a focus group to locate their own arse cheeks and break out in a cold sweat when making basic moral decisions that would be obvious to a toddler.

I’ve always been an Apollo/Moon nut so, out of excitement/naivety, I kept hoping the flaws would become so obvious they’d be resolved before things had gone too far but I think the old sunk cost fallacy is fully in play.

Starship seems flawed but Blue Origin are also n o w h e r e. The whole thing is a shambles and it’s incredible it’s been spun positively for this long. Billions have been wasted on two rockets. One can’t carry a lander and the other (due to explodiness) can’t carry people.

Its thrust at launch may be greater than Saturn V but its subsequent stages are weaker, meaning it can’t carry the same payload (even that wee phone booth). Much has been written and said about this. It’s a shame but it really is a horse designed by committee and an obscene waste of money.

It is exciting but the SLS represents a stunning failure of design and governance. It lacks the power to carry a lander, which must be transported separately and in advance (by Starship). So while in 1969 we could get to the moon on one rocket, 60 years later we need two. Crazy stuff from NASA.

No need to worry. If their politics are anywhere to the left of Vlad the Impaler, they’re bound to be deported by the summer anyway.

There’s no need to be Sherlock Holmes to figure this out, is there?

Disagree. Starmer’s poodling has ended where it always would - that’s why it was so cringeworthy.

Or explode.

Presumably other nominees include noted peaceniks Servalan, Mr D Vader, Ming the Merciless, Lord Business and Schmeter Schmandelson…

At this point it’s probably acceptable to start riding around on a Harley with a crossbow on your back.

He’s redacted the fuck out of the Epstein files, painted a lot of stuff gold in the Oval and nabbed himself a jumbo jet. Apart from that - nada.

They’ve already made a mess of it. Even if they do pull off some great signings (which feels unlikely at this point), it’s asking a lot for them to be up to speed in time for Hearts. There’s also every chance we’ll lose players too.

Every act of appeasement emboldens Cankles the Clown, but his arse collapses when he’s challenged. Learn the lesson or things will keep getting worse.

I’d still rather be stuck in a castle with Jonathan Ross than Robert Jenrick.
