She/Her.
Nomadic Brit-Aus, MX-PR, currently back in UK.
Auntie Fah. Radical Leftie.
No climate justice without social justice.
And sovereignty was never ceded.
I'm in the UK for family reasons, having spent 20 years in mostly hot climates including 11 in Sydney. I'd happily swap with you, though I did enjoy my apple crumble and custard at the Christmas Market yesterday. Hope you get to do it one day. (Proper snow though, not just annoying British slush.)

Oh no, I would cry. Mine has lived in three countries, we’ve been though a lot together 😀

Just got a new battery in my 12 mini. The guy said they do a lot, people are reluctant to give them up.

Wow, they're fab. And yes, solidarity every day.

When we first moved over from Sg we rented a little cottage in McMahons Point and the first time I woke up to that noise I thought we had a roof full of chimpanzees escaped from a zoo. Needless to say I now adore them.

The joys of living in 5 countries. I still have to remember not everyone understands my Singlish.

True - I didn't realise it was typically Australian until I used it back in the UK.

Very similar to one of mine when I'm home alone. Others being ready-poached salmon or a cooked chicken breast chopped into microwaved veg, livened up with a few dry spices or kecap manis, etc.

I've been comparing UK-AU stories for future plans. Here in the UK I was referred, as a result of abs scans, for "urgent surgery". At 31 weeks I was called to discuss the need to speak to a consultant. (Very grateful that my husband's insurance meant I was several months post-surgery by then.)

In a previous life I got to do a lot of long haul travel in BC. I would always much prefer to sit near a well-travelled expat child than some prat on expenses for the first time, determined to drink the plane dry. (Especially the one that got on, took off his shoes and socks, and picked his feet.)

My cleaner in Singapore had a drop of this every day. It explained a lot. (She also tried to convince me some dark tarry substance would help me have babies despite a total hysterectomy ten years earlier. it came from a place of love 😀)

Assimilation, huh?

You are ridiculously talented.

It's improved a lot lately. LAX on the other hand, shocking.

I'm a dual citizen and I've done that journey more times than I can remember. I would seriously love this. (The emergency trip I took in 2010 took me 7 days, several countries, planes, trains and automobiles due to a pesky volcano.)

Highly intolerant to eggs, intolerant to dairy and gluten - one of my favourite things in the world is Tiramisu. Sometimes I just live life on the edge.

I couldn't get much more Northern, but I've been around 😉

I have to flip a switch half way up the A1M, having last year been accused of starving my very pregnant niece after arranging to take her to dinner and not arriving by 1pm.
