Today's the anniversary of a scary day, at the top of a scary year. I'm grateful to support some of the best journalists in the world at this moment, if for no other reason than to have a sense of purpose in this moment.

The music reflects that glitchiness, that fear of mine, that disconnection. After completing a first draft the episode titled "The Tunnel" (the tasing of a police officer and the brutal FBI interrogation that followed), I burst into tears.

I scored and sound designed the series from my personal point of view, as opposed to that of the audience or a character in the series. On the day of the insurrection, I felt disconnected, shielded by multiple digital layers (social media, clips of Trump, etc).
