My take: Project 2025 is a plan. Promoting Christian Nationalism and its cultural agenda is (sort of) a plan. Making rich people richer is (sort of) a plan. But sometimes the plans don't match, and DT always decides based on what he believes make him look strong and powerful -- not the plans.

excellent point on the primaries. and I agree on the Civil War as well. There's a huge population of right wingers who are ITCHING for a Civil War at this point. I doubt that we will get to a conflict worthy of that title, but I do expect murders in the name of "war" at some point.

It's a coin flip whether the Supremes will uphold a contempt order with teeth against Trump. I think eventually they will, and again Trump will ignore. The more interesting question to me is, what happens then? Nothing changes? Third impeachment trial (same result)? Increasing protests leading ...

It seems likely to me that our federal government will only REALLY adhere to legal outcomes that it likes. Eventually, the courts will object to this, as Judge Boasberg appears to be doing. And, the administration will likely ignore the contempt order, whatever it requires. (cont.)
