And they can't even effectively disprove the list either...what're they gonna say..."No the Knesset meeting thing isn't real but the Blackmail Thing is"

Anything other than complete denial, which we would never believe is viable. The information blow to Israeli moral alone is intense.

The tax on unrealized gains was fine as long as there was a cap on income regarding who it hits. If they can leverage that unrealized gains into things like loans (how Musk got people to back his buy if Twitter) then they should pay taxes on that economic leverage. Might not be a perfect fix, but...

We'll see I guess. Honestly, I am not hopeful on it, but if we get a surprise laugh out of the Pillsbury Dogeboys then I'll happily take that win

See, I disagree on that in that the only income allowed for leadership civil servants should be that which is drawn from the governmental sources.

All other income derived from their tenure or linked to their being in office (such as stock gains) should be funneled to their district for public use.

I have never experienced a digression I enjoyed more than the possible assassination attempt on the life of one Crispin Hoare by suicide shrews

Man, we're trying...I just try not to get too hopeful for good things. Makes it all the nicer when they happen and less shitty when they don't

But like a Salary equal to the Median Salary of the Nation with a COLA based on the constituency of that elecorate? That to me not only would encourage people to do their best for their own location, but also to raise the median income for All

That's a touch draconian for my taste in that I want Service to our Nation to be something that people do, but I also think it should be considered a *Duty* not a career path.

It's not our money yet...we still have to "pay our dues" and "earn our place" or whatever the claim is that will 100% not pan out...

Frankly, most people in my generation (Millennials) aren't expecting Social Security...or at least none of the ones I talk to :/

"And you know what I mean, so stop making fun of me because my joke is uneducated and stupid"

Come on man...us not acknowledging your dog whistle does not make us stupid.

The continued adventures of Crazy Joe Spork and his father's Tommy Gun granted sentience... somehow :-P

I dunno, sounds to me like they're going great. Lean in and then prune what doesn't work.

Men of Good Fortune is one of my favorite stories. Just...speaks to me somehow xD And the treatment of Shakespeare in Sandman, to me at least, was always favorable if not a bit disappointed...in the same way people get disappointed in King Midas for his focus on gold
