How did Gen X become so conservative? The Reagan presidency was supposed to be a cautionary tale, not a starter model. Alex P. Keaton was NOT a role model. You weren't supposed to watch Pretty in Pink and find Blair aspirational. I’m so disappointed in my fellow Gen Xers.

Make it make sense. Students with disabilities are a protected class. We love farmers, but they aren’t a protected class. Why can’t farmers “just go somewhere else?”

The NC Senate just passed this bill to erode AG @jeffjacksonnc.bsky.social powers & weaken checks & balances in our government. Now it goes to the House, where it’s also sure to pass. Gov. @joshsteinnc.bsky.social is expected to veto it - EVERY SINGLE DEM will need to vote to uphold that veto.

A winter storm shut down activity at the NC legislature this week, so I took some time to look at all the bills filed so far this session. To date, the NC House has filed 157, and the NC Senate has filed 120. These are the worst of them.
