Totally agree this is how I use it most of the time. I actually just want to filter decent results from the internet and then go look at the sources directly. A lot of questions do have simple answers

It does seem easy in principle but there a lot of issues mainly with security. Voting is really not the kind of thing where you can say "well this is a weak point but that's never gonna be exploited by anyone for sure!". Here's a video by Tom Scott that taught about this
