Jabez Chakraborty, the 22-year-old New Yorker shot multiple times by the NYPD in the midst of a mental health crisis, is being arraigned right now by the Queens DA's office. One of his charges—attempted assault of a police officer, after he lunged at them with a knife—has a 15-year max sentence.

This was attempted by John Wells with Southland and it unfortunately failed on network tv but succeeded on basic cable. I don't think it will be as successful as The Pitt. There has been a limited amount of successful medical shows over the last decade but a large amount of successful cop shows.
