How flowy was Te Awa Kairangi on the weekend? Big but less than annual average. Flood defences are designed to cope with x5 the flow, which I hope doesn’t happen in my lifetime (but it could)!

While we’re all running around campaigning, the real work of governing the region continues. This Thursday we make some very important multi-million-dollar decisions on the next round of bus contracts. It’s commercially-sensitive, so I can’t share more than the published agenda.
