Still reeling from seeing Chappell Roan (and JADE!) on Tuesday, my photos are gash, but the gig was sooooo good! (Thanks to Jules for the ticket as a birthday present! 💖).

I'm so happy I got to see Chappell, the staging was incredible and she's just an absolute legend, pure power pop! 💕💕💕

After a long, long period of dealing with life, (un)employment, mental health problems including a post-PhD nervous breakdown and mystical/spiritual crises, I'm finally fully focused on finishing my monograph, Making Time.

This is why it's so difficult to move away from monopolistic tech companies - the alternatives are also shite.

Offering AI as an alternative when your (checks notes) entire search engine (which is, y'know, the WHOLE THING) is down just isn't doing it for me 🤔

Went to see Martha at St Luke's last night, who are always brilliant - didn't stay for Cheekface unfortunately because I am SO OLD and two gigs in two days was A LOT

Took these disgusting photos at Hillhead Bookclub after the gig

Saw Allie X at Oran Mor on Monday night thanks to @julesscheele.bsky.social, it was our first time seeing her live and she was incredible and very weird (complementary) 💖💖💖

Hey #portfolioday

I'm Garry, an illustrator, writer, researcher and community arts facilitator from Glasgow.

I produce queer pop culture illustrations for clients and commissions and do a lot of third sector work, especially with marginalised participant-led groups and projects.

First I've caught my breath since the weekend!

Glasgow Zine Fair 2025 was a magnificent triumph! Honestly, one of the best of these kinds of events I think I've ever been to!

I'll be at Glasgow Zine Fair at the Tramway at the @omipalonepress.bsky.social table this weekend!

I'll be selling my queer temporality comic essay and a new text-based zine on Lady Gaga's 'Abracadabra'.

Come say hi (it's my birthday on Saturday lol)! 👋✨

Beyond appalled to receive this handwritten note, addressed to "The Resident", posted through the mail today.

Jehovah's Witnesses believe homosexuality is an irreconcilable sin (without conversion therapy) so the idea that I would find solace among God's Haters is *disgusting*

It's Time. Halfway thru my winter retreat and coping with the realities of chronopathy (or 'time sickness') I've decided after a break of over a year to go back on the mirtles.

Some snippets of work I've been doing recently. Planning on doing some prints that I can take to events and might eventually get some up online for sale.
