Ultimately, to be constantly witnessed in my full transness and queerness simultaneously is what feels good. I hope more people can do that; see individuals in their wholeness.

Shorthand, I still use queer but situations where there are checkboxes for queer, bisexual, and pansexual, I would tick all 3.

But the moment they realize I date people of other genders, specifically, cis men, I’m suddenly “bi” and the non-binary part becomes like a “woman-light” situation, which is extremely inaccurate and dismissively offensive;

The funny thing is, plenty of people equate “queer” with just “homo” and it seems easier for them to understand me being non-binary while being queer in a homo way.

And it’s hard to be trans-non-binary and use the term bisexual to describe myself because it can sound contradictory. I’ve embraced “QUEER” for about 18 years now and it suits me better in the bell hooks definition of things while acknowledging that I’m exclusively attracted to other queer/bi/pan…

And I wish that the interest and reverence to crack open canonical works from outside Europe and the “west” are at par with that of Shakespeare’s. But yes, for now, let’s go for good adaptations.

I also saw Hamlet at Shakespeare in the Paek. Found the material unrelatable, hard to understand, and uninteresting. The best so far were the R+J production on Broadway and of course the movie from the 90s. There are so many of us outside the “western” world that those things weren’t written for.

Anyone that uses “male-bodied” or “female-bodied” are clear red flags for not accepting the treachery of socially constructed and imposed gender on bodies. Our bodies should be ours first but society puts meaning into them without our consent the moment were born or even before that.

Sounds reactionary. What if those foundations never existed? Wouldn’t we have more alternatives, maybe better options? Like I never read Shakespeare and don’t plan to ever and I’m not fomo about it based on what I’ve seen on R+J and Sleep No More.

A better answer would be, as it is now, the sex & gender binary categorization of sports is inherently racist and unfair in all the ways. Also, many leagues and school boards have already ruled against trans and intersex people like the Olympics. He just lacks leadership and vision for liberation.

Omg do I have to spell it out to you that I’m also on hrt? And yes surgeries are also in the future plans. The kinds of things that are being taken away by actual evil actors as you hate on people who might opt out of them.
