Yes! This event is open to all queer authors.
We certainly understand the concern, and we recognize that this policy change may not appeal to all participants.
Of course, as with our peer events, images and moodboards are not required to participate. However, these can be designed/created with free tools like Canva for anyone interested.

In the past when images were banned, we found that many participants would use them anyway and see their pitches get greater attention than those who had followed the rules.
Because we don't have a way to prevent this happening, it seemed fairer to allow everyone to use images if they choose to.

Other writers may show support for pitches by commenting and retweeting/posting. However, other writers should not like pitches.
