Capitalism in general is the problem, and the unfettered part is just a natural product of that system which values profits over human life.
We need to cooperate, not compete. We need to value humanity over money. We need to end capitalism.

Yeah, but them being Muslim isn’t the reason for that, so there’s no need to say it like that. That implication would be racist and untrue. Even America sadly cares about petty profits more than humanity, as does every capitalist country.

You’re right, and I mostly agree… but $1000 would be enough to at least keep people’s heads above the water (covering rent, food, and then some), and getting into programs like welfare and SNAP is very hard. They just need to make price gouging illegal (sadly, they most likely never will).

I won’t, because that creates problematic implications. Sure, Donald Trump is downright awful… but not every convicted person is. Some people who are convicted were done so unfairly or for unjustified reasons. It’s not fair to broadly stigmatize people who are convicted or felons for that reason.
