Maybe the issue is that at a local level Dems, like the ones here in SF, are actually increasing the suffering of the most vulnerable, not alleviating it, all while cutting safety net programs and increasing police budgets. Maybe the fire ain't so friendly.

Reading Queer as Folklore by @sachacoward.bsky.social. In the conclusion of the chapter "I'm Sorry, Dave," there is a line about queers being able to "dissect what it is to not feel quite human." It's really got me thinking this morning about how WE-HUMANS constantly other each other & ourselves....
