This arrived yesterday, Sweet Talk by Rena Sapon-White & Ella Schaefer. I inhaled this book in one sleepless night. Yummy. Delish. Lick the bowl clean tasty. Now I need to get Thinking Bar and try a few things out.

Life has been a kick in the teeth lately, but books have always offered respite. Make or Break by E.J. Noyes was a timely comfort read this week. I can’t wait for the audio version narrated by Abby Craden.

The Unbroken by C.L. Clark .This book sinks a fist in your chest and drags you willingly behind it like a penitent on your knees.The fact there is another book in the series available now and a third coming later this year is like an answer to a prayer. Just amazing in every way.

A Dark and Drowning Tide by Allison Saft was the perfect companion on our gold mine expedition. Lovely grumpy/sunshine enemies to lovers chemistry, mischievous and murderous magicical creatures, and an elegant exploration of the power of grief, guilt and love.

J.J. Arias never disappoints, but For Love and Blood and Fury is exactly the book I needed this week. Hot as all get out. Banter like swordplay. Heartfelt yearning that pounds like a bass drum from the start. Funny and so freaking satisfying. I fell in love three times. #Sapphic Books | #WLW

Last book of 2024, House of Crimson Curses by Ruby Roe. Amazing conclusion to the Immortal Lovers series.

First book of 2025, All the Painted Stars by Emma Denny. Battle ready cottage core sweetness.

Different vibes, but two great reads about finding a love worth bleeding for.

I’ve been warned Reverence by Milena McKay is high on the “Freya’s hickeys from Audrey” scale of angst. So yes, this supplicant has offered up prayers for mercy, which I am assured will not be granted. Ready the heart for bruises. This is Milena McKay afterall. So worth it.

Three Women In Paradise by Victoria Avilan is full of beautiful, dangerous and treacherous hope amid a slapping gauntlet of phantasmic plot twists. Loved the audio with Abby Craden as emotional support narrator, but no matter the vehicle, this book richly rewards the intrepid.
