It is fucked up how similar the words teach (lehren) and learn (lernen) are in German when you have dyslexia & you're taking German teaching course with every variation and compound of the words teach and learn occuring every other sentence. Like Lehrenden (teachers) and Lernenden (learners).

So I've started a series of graduate courses in German teaching in order to get a relevant degree in the field and be able to teach.
I was sort of dreading the fact that they were going to be fully in German because of my ever-present imposter syndrome.

The experience of being medicated for ADHD is simultaneously relieving and Incredibly fucking frustrating.
Imagining how different my life could have been if I had known I had this and could have been medicated decades ago.
I know I can't change the past but it's fucked that it took this long.

I can tell the Ritalin is working bc after playing Minecraft until 4, I answered some emails and reviewed
info for the course I'm starting Monday and even did the first assignment early.
Normally I'd've struggled to even look at the email and turned in the assignment the second before it was due
