Queer Chesham is a new group , hoping to support and foster the queer community in Chesham and beyond, in the hope of making our home a more open and welcoming place.

Happy new year to everyone. Its been a tough 2025 for queer communities across the nation. Which makes me grateful to everyone how makes our local community , a happy welcoming place . Here is to reliance and strength to face this coming year. The next meet up is on the 14th of Jan.

We had a great day at Saturdays trans+ pride march. With the unprecedent attack on human rights it was great seeing so many people (100,00 according to the organisers) come out in support. Thanks again to the people that made it a great day of action -Laura

Two members of Queer Chesham attend the mass lobby yesterday and met our MP Sarah Green to raise our concerns about the new Guidance being rushed through by the EHRC. I would like to thank Sarah Green for making the time to talk to us and listening to our concerns and experiences.

It is 71 years since Alan Turing died after being chemically castrated for being homosexual. Only pardoned in 4/12/2013, Turing broke Nazi codes, progressed UK computing and likely shortened ww2.
This is why we organise, because no one’s rights & dignity should be taken because they are Queer.
