In the "personal news" department, this morning I let my colleagues know that I'm leaving The Washington Post. I'm retiring from my longtime journalistic home but not from journalism, and I'll keep you posted as I decide what my next chapter will be.

I still see people cutting and pasting from the Bad Place to dunk on it here, and I hope you all get that out of your system real soon now
