As much as I love this picture, the hope it represents was not truly there for Tei originally

In her story it was several days before the Scions were ready to return to the Source, & it would not be until just before they left that Tei would feel that hope

Fun fact: Tei’s an absolute bookworm. She may not be an “intellectual” the way many of the Scions are, but she’s bright & curious

I like to think that, of everyone, Cid was the both the first to recognise Raha’s crush, and the least surprised to learn he and Tei became a couple when Raha returned to the Source lol

Tei’s always been adventurous, a bit feisty, & possessed of an imagination that could take her anywhere

She may have possessed the naivety of youth, but w/a curious mind she sought knowledge & new experiences

She also had *quite* the temper & was more than willing to fight those who provoked it
