The Queen's Court Bristol Tenants' Union
A community for the residents of Queen's Court Bristol, an iconic building on Queen's Road, set up to fight for the rights of the residents as a collective and showcase the condition of the building as it is
Imagine living in a kitchen like this, every time it rains having to but a bucket on the floor and pray your dinner stays dry.

Then imagine being told you have two months to leave just because you asked for it to be fixed.

This is reality in Queen's Court.

A dab of paint over this should absolutely fix the problems, right?

Maybe the worst part of the broken lifts is having to walk past this in the hallways

There is a real mental and social cost to living in a building like this. Having a safe and well maintained home isn't just about having a roof over your head, it's about having a space you can be yourself.

The lift in one block broke on the 5th February and was not fixed until the 17th, almost two weeks with no lift in a 7 storey building! Residents with disabilities and mobility concerns experienced real distress from this

The hallways of the blocks, years of painted over damp - There is no commitment to fixing the systemic issues with the building and this keeps coming back

The building looks abandoned but has over a hundred people living there

Nobody deserves to live in poor conditions, be afraid of their landlord, or feel unsafe in their own home!

Many thanks to contributors and our kind translators who allow us to offer this in Portuguese as well as English!
