As a child it was Anne of Green Gables. Lifelong, I’d probably say Jane Austen’s Persuasion. It makes me feel a bit basic as a reader to say Austen but it’s a really beautiful novel.

It maybe shows how low my standards are that this is actually one of the better articles I've read since this all began. I'm Iranian-American and it's accurate, if very obvious. Like, duh, people don't like the regime and are also very upset that their families are being bombed.
