I don’t know that this will help but when I look back at my past and I see where I made choices that weren’t good for myself and/or others, I try to reframe. It is just part of my path, and who I am today is because of the path I’ve been on throughout my life.

I was 9. Grease was a cultural force when I was in 4th grade. My parents wouldn’t let me watch it, which was socially traumatic. This was probably also around the time I accidentally saw The Exorcist and was differently traumatized.
