anyway even when considering The Issues, the new Classic Thomas is far and away the best of the new diecasts and im happy to have both the normal and inevitably-going-to-smudge-away-all-its-special-deco versions

STOP PRESS: i finally figured out what was making me mald in the first two posts; i hadn't adjusted the cab placement at all so it was too big + too far forward

this tinkercad experiment was much easier lol
despite having to do another TWR Design Sin and add some real boiler beneath the saddletank, this J13 was way easier to work out than the Jinty, somehow???
also made to print out as a single block of resin, which makes me feel less bad about Design Sin

oh god i just realized i finished this like two weeks ago and never posted them. i'll get this resin printed at some point to test-fit
tried something new by adding relief fillets in Fusion360 instead of fudging them in Tinkercad, which meant i was able take some fancy-lit screenshots #ttte

Like, the new James is mostly fine, but the recycled AEG Tender just doesn't cut it. But since I already happen to own an Egg Along James, I have the necessary references to design a replacement body.
Hopefully I can have something physically prototyped before James hits store shelves in the US?
