Having to adjust your life because of it, like you having to sit or lay down in order to feel any sort of relief, never seems to get easier. It's just a constant reminder that our bodies don't work the way they should, & the fact that we can't do anything to fix/cure it is its own sort of despair.

That's awful, I understand how it feels to be in pain 24/7. It's endlessly exhausting & makes you feel hopeless. Since getting mono when I was 21, I've been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, Sjogren's syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis & narcolepsy so it's completely fucked so much of my life up. 😮‍💨
