Classic BB hangover

I told her about Ashley’s Associates! Wasn’t sure she’d see it since the comments were going so fast, but I think that convinced her to come over here. 🥳 #bb27

Not official, but Ethanimale on YT has a BB channel where he analyzes BB players, gameplay, and strategy. Highly recommended.

She’ll do even worse on The Challenge

You earned it! You played such a great game.

Wishfully thinking but hopefully the it’s the end of the comp beast era, especially if Ashley wins. 🤞🏽

You agree with me, not the other way around, but glad we finally got there!
September 28, 2025 at 5:23 PM
Cute that you’re trying to claim my arguments as yours though 😂

No you said the *only* reason she was in this spot is due to the comp, but it’s not. I said it helped put her in a better position, but that she did a lot of foundational work socially and would’ve convinced Morgan to take her anyway which you disagreed with.

I thought we agreed to disagree? I’m certainly not agreeing with you here 😂

I read what you wrote. Comps are part of the game but don’t have the level of importance you seem to think. Ash probably would’ve been in f2 anyway based on her social game, winning pt 2 made it easier by putting her in a better position, but she didn’t necessarily need to win it to get there.

Comps are part of the game, but they don’t determine the winner, nor has a winner ever been required to win comps. There are multiple ways to play and win this game, not everyone has the skills to be comp beasts. If that’s the expectation why cast Will, Renny, or Jerry?

That’s okay. Ashley’s game will be lauded and respected after this season wraps regardless of what you believe.

I don’t agree. She’s been working on driving a wedge between Morgan and Vince for weeks. Had he won, she’d have even more leverage using the same argument because both were afraid of the other taking Ashley anyway, especially Vince. Ava did a number on Morgan on her way out, Ashley took advantage.
September 28, 2025 at 2:49 PM
Doesn’t matter if it’s an objectively beneficial move, before yesterday neither were going to do it, especially not Morgan. “Resumes” only matter if they matter, comp wins do not guarantee a victory, there’s a reason this game is decided by a jury and not a comp. Plenty of winners lack comp wins.
September 28, 2025 at 2:32 PM
Okay then, this week she has maximized the amount of scenarios that get her to final 2 by manipulating both Vince and Morgan into wanting to take her if either won HoH. That did not happen overnight or because she sat around passively waiting for them to choose to take her.
September 28, 2025 at 2:25 PM
We do know though. Ashley was for sure on her way out the door until she flipped the house in her favor. Her proactive gameplay saved her that week.
September 28, 2025 at 1:21 PM
And you’d be wrong. Ashley’s game shows the value of building, leveraging, and utilizing social relationships, without the work she’s put in many variables could change, like her being voted out instead of Will week 9.

It is, isn’t it?
September 28, 2025 at 1:11 PM
She’s been working the last couple of weeks on creating a wedge between Morgan and Vince in order to get both to take her to f2, so no a comp is not the “only” reason she’s in the spot she’s in this spot, her winning that comp has simply allowed her better positioning.

No it has not always been comp based, there were no comps the first season. It has always been first and foremost a social experiment, and even when it was gamified in BB2, the winner won with zero comp wins. BB is a social strategy game.
