IMO only drawback is that it goes 1 for 3 on good trans representation, but all the other representation is on point from what I understand.

It’s just a vessel for the characters and each of their individual journeys. That’s why the show doesn’t end on a resolution to the political conflict, but a culmination of the character arcs in one lovely song!

It’s not trying to be anything more than a fun, sweet show and it does that 100%. Music and art style is on point despite the clearly limited budget. I know people like to pull apart the plot, and that’s fair, but the reality of the setting isn’t really a goal of the show.
