That’s how Chris Claremont and a lot of see her. She’s no mere host, and I think Phoenix Endsong (2004), Jean Grey (2024), Immortal X-Men (2023), X-Men Forever (2024), and Rise of the Powers of X (2024), and other stories underscore that.

Yeah Jean has been said to be the Phoenix made flesh or similar wording a few times. So a lot of Jean fans see her that way.

Also, I asked about Phoenix being “a primal force second only to that of the Creator [i.e., the One Above All]” because that's what Claremont originally established and Al Ewing recently affirmed in Defenders: Beyond (2022). Anyway, I love your work and can't wait to see where the series goes! 🙏🏻
